NPQs

The BTSA is proud to be working with Best Practice Network/Outstanding Leaders Partnership to deliver local, high-quality National Professional Qualifications (NPQs) to colleagues across the Essex area.

APPLICATIONS FOR SPRING 2024 NPQ INTAKE HAVE BEEN EXTENDED - APPLICTION DEADLINE NOW SUNDAY 28TH JANUARY

THIS IS THE FINAL NPQ COHORT WITH CONFIRMED DfE SCHOLARSHIP FUNDING FOR ALL STATE-MAINTAINED SCHOOLS AND ACADEMIES SO WE WOULD ENCOURAGE ALL SCHOOLS CONSIDERING REGISTERING STAFF TO APPLY NOW!

NPQs offer teachers and leaders clear development opportunities and career progression to support effective leadership, which in turn enhances pupil outcomes and fosters positive change in schools. DfE funded NPQs offer the following advantages:

  • Enhance staff retention by providing professional development opportunities that empower leaders, improve job satisfaction and build expertise.
  • Attract talented educators, offering a pathway for growth and advancement, ultimately creating a positive and fulfilling work environment.
  • Comprehensive and Local: Your school leaders will engage with a diverse network of educational professionals, sharing knowledge, experiences and best practices, all while addressing the unique challenges of our local educational landscape.

Training for this cohort is fully funded by the Department for Education (DfE), with small schools also able to apply for additional funding toward staff release, which allows schools to invest in the growth and potential of their leaders while optimising resources for other essential initiatives.
