Research demonstrates that high quality CPD for teachers has a significant positive effect on pupil outcomes and is the most cost-effective way to boost pupil attainment

ITT Courses

The BTSA has an excellent reputation for Teacher Training. We work in partnership with local schools and Tes Institute. The following teacher training opportunities will be available starting in September 2024 through the ITT Fee funded and ITT Employment based routes.

Whilst specific training places have been loosely attached to certain schools, there is flexibility in this depending on the association that individual candidates have with particular schools. Candidates are therefore required to be flexible about their placements but we would encourage you to state your preference when submitting your application.
